You’ll access Google’s developer tools, referred to as Chrome DevTools. Click on the “Network” tab and reload the page to gather data. You’ll see all HTTP requests, along with their sizes and loading times. This includes requests for images, plugins, JavaScript, CSS files, and more.

How to Fix It:

  • Reduce the number of files your page needs to load. This could mean combining CSS and JavaScript files or reducing the number of plugins you use.

6. Web Fonts

  2. GTmetrix
    GTmetrix provides a detailed breakdown of your page speed, including the number of requests, load time, and total page size. It’s great for seeing exactly which elements are slowing down your site.
  3. Pingdom
    Similar to GTmetrix, Pingdom offers a quick snapshot of your site’s speed, as well as recommendations for improvement. It also lets you test your site from different locations around the world.
  4. WebPageTest
